It is a known fact that in most cases, to integrate an oscillatory problem, higher order A-stable methods are often needed. This is because such problems are characterized by stiffness, chaos and damping, thus making them tedious to solve.

2020 global reassessment of the neutrino oscillation picture [PDF]
We present an updated global fit of neutrino oscillation data in the simplest three-neutrino framework. In the present study we include up-to-date analyses from a number of experiments.

The authors consider a Hamiltonian system of \(2N+2\) oscillators. They exhibit the solutions of its initial value problem. In the classical context the solutions are completely periodic for arbitrary initial data. In the quantal context the infinitely degenerate spectrum is equispaced. All the corresponding eigenfunctions are also exhibited.

Oscillation Dynamics of Multiple Water Droplets Levitated in an Acoustic Field
This study aimed to improve and investigate the oscillation dynamics and levitation stability of acoustically levitated water droplets. Contactless sample manipulation technology in mid-air has attracted significant attention in the fields of ...

Oscillation of Solutions to Third-Order Nonlinear Neutral Dynamic Equations on Time Scales
In this paper, we are concerned with the oscillation of solutions to a class of third-order nonlinear neutral dynamic equations on time scales. New oscillation criteria are presented by employing the Riccati transformation and integral averaging ...

No evidence for tactile entrainment of attention
Temporal patterns in our environment provide a rich source of information, to which endogenous neural processes linked to perception and attention can synchronize. This phenomenon, known as entrainment, has so far been studied predominately in the visual

On the oscillation of species [PDF]
We describe a new class of BPS objects called magnetubes: their supersymmetry is determined by their magnetic charges, while their electric charges can oscillate freely between different species. We show how to incorporate these objects into microstate geometries and create BPS solutions in which the charge densities rotate through different U(1 ...
