The authors consider a Hamiltonian system of \(2N+2\) oscillators. They exhibit the solutions of its initial value problem. In the classical context the solutions are completely periodic for arbitrary initial data. In the quantal context the infinitely degenerate spectrum is equispaced. All the corresponding eigenfunctions are also exhibited.

In the last decades, a very important breakthrough has been brought about in the elementary particle physics by the discovery of the phenomenon of the neutrino oscillations, which has shown neutrino properties beyond the Standard Model. But a full understanding of the various aspects of the neutrino oscillations is far to be achieved. In this paper the

Beyond rhythm – a framework for understanding the frequency spectrum of neural activity
Cognitive and behavioral processes are often accompanied by changes within well-defined frequency bands of the local field potential (LFP i.e., the voltage induced by neuronal activity).

Oscillation death in coupled counter-rotating identical nonlinear oscillators [PDF]
We study oscillatory and oscillation suppressed phases in coupled counter-rotating nonlinear oscillators. We demonstrate the existence of limit cycle, amplitude death, and oscillation death, and also clarify the Hopf, pitchfork, and infinite period ...

Sharp results for oscillation of second-order neutral delay differential equations
The aim of the present paper is to continue earlier works by the authors on the oscillation problem of second-order half-linear neutral delay differential equations.

Theory of laser oscillation in resonators with photorefractive gain [PDF]
A theory for oscillation in an optical resonator with photorefractive gain was formulated. The threshold conditions for the oscillation were also obtained.

AbstractModal coupling oscillation models for the stellar radial pulsation and coupled-oscillators are reviewed. Coupled-oscillators with the second-order and third-order terms seemed to behave non-systematically. Using the equation by Schwarzschild and Savedoff (1949) with the dissipation term of van del Pol’s type which is third-order, we demonstrate

Novel long-range inhibitory nNOS-expressing hippocampal cells
The hippocampus, a brain region that is important for spatial navigation and episodic memory, benefits from a rich diversity of neuronal cell-types. Through the use of an intersectional genetic viral vector approach in mice, we report novel hippocampal ...

A generalized oscillator algebra is proposed and the braided Hopf algebra structure for this generalized oscillator is investigated. Using the solutions for the braided Hopf algebra structure, two types of braided Fibonacci oscillators are introduced. This leads to two types of braided Biedenharn–Macfarlane oscillators as special cases of the Fibonacci
