LIMITING PROFILE OF AXISYMMETRIC INDENTER DUE TO THE INITIALLY DISPLACED DUAL-MOTION FRETTING WEAR
Recently the final worn shape of elastic indenters due to fretting wear was analytically solved using the method of dimensionality reduction. In this paper we extend this model to dual-motion fretting wear and take into account that the indenter is ...

Powder Optimization Strategies for Binder Jetting Printing of BaTiO3 and Ba0,6Sr0,4TiO3 Ceramics
Powder optimization is investigated to enable binder jetting of BaTiO3 and Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 ferroelectric ceramics. The antagonistic relationship between flowability and binder compatibility is addressed through binder impregnation of granulated powders and fumed silica addition to fine powders.

Matter Effects on Neutrino Oscillations in Long Baseline Experiments
We calculate matter effects on neutrino oscillations relevant for long baseline experiments. In particular, we compare the results obtained with constant density along the neutrino path versus results obtained by incorporating the actual density profiles

Growth Rate in the Dynamical Dark Energy Models [PDF]
Dark Energy models with slowly-rolling cosmological scalar field provide a popular alternative to the standard, time-independent cosmological constant model.

The wettability of aluminum droplets (Al) on different copper substrates (Cu), where liquid Al spreads on solid Cu surfaces to form a liquid–solid interface, is studied numerically and experimentally. The experimental and numerical results show good agreement in the fast‐spreading regime.

Experimental study on the slip evolution of planar fractures subjected to cyclic normal stress
The frictional rupture mechanisms of rock discontinuities considering the dynamic load disturbance still remain unclear. This paper investigates the transitional behaviors of slip events happened on a planar granite fracture under cyclic normal stress ...

Effects of a neutrino-dark energy coupling on oscillations of high-energy neutrinos [PDF]
If dark energy (DE) is a dynamical field rather than a cosmological constant, an interaction between DE and the neutrino sector could exist, modifying the neutrino oscillation phenomenology and causing CP and apparent Lorentz violating effects. The terms

This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

Oscillation constant for modified Euler type half-linear equations
Applying the modified half-linear Prufer angle, we study oscillation properties of the half-linear differential equation $$ [ r(t) t^{p-1} \Phi(x')]' + \frac{s(t)}{t \log^pt} \Phi(x) = 0, \quad \Phi(x)=|x|^{p-1}\hbox{sgn} x.

Load changes in a microgrid comprising diesel generators and wind turbines cause oscillations in system frequency. In this paper, an analytical model that takes wind generator speed deviation into account is proposed to evaluate the oscillation frequency
