Oscillation Criteria for Nonlinear Third-Order Delay Dynamic Equations on Time Scales Involving a Super-Linear Neutral Term

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
In the sense of an arbitrary time scale, some new sufficient conditions on oscillation are presented in this paper for a class of nonlinear third-order delay dynamic equations involving a local fractional derivative with a super-linear neutral term.

Oscillation of Neutral Differential Equations with Damping Terms

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
Our interest in this paper is to study and develop oscillation conditions for solutions of a class of neutral differential equations with damping terms. New oscillation criteria were obtained by using Riccati transforms. The criteria we obtained improved

Mechanical Properties of Architected Polymer Lattice Materials: A Comparative Study of Additive Manufacturing and CAD Using FEM and µ‐CT

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study examines how pore shape and manufacturing‐induced deviations affect the mechanical properties of 3D‐printed lattice materials with constant porosity. Combining µ‐CT analysis, FEM, and compression testing, the authors show that structural imperfections reduce stiffness and strength, while bulk material inhomogeneities probably enhance ...

Models of nonlinear kinematic hardening based on different versions of rate-independent maxwell fluid [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Different models of finite strain plasticity with a nonlinear kinematic hardening are analyzed in a systematic way. All the models are based on a certain formulation of a rate-independent Maxwell fluid, which is used to render the evolution of backstresses.

Non-universal transmission phase behaviour of a large quantum dot

open access: yes, 2017
The electron wave function experiences a phase modification at coherent transmission through a quantum dot. This transmission phase undergoes a characteristic shift of $\pi$ when scanning through a Coulomb-blockade resonance.

OSCILLATION CRITERIA FOR FIRST-ORDER DELAY EQUATIONS

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, 2003
The authors study the problem of establishing sufficient conditions for the oscillation of the first-order delay differential equation \[ x'(t)+p(t)x(\tau(t))=0 \] under the assumption that \(\lim_{t\to\infty}\int_{\tau(t)}^{t}p(s)\,ds\) does not exist. The obtained results improve related results known in the literature.

MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...

Oscillation criteria for second-order neutral delay differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2017
New sufficient conditions for oscillation of second-order neutral half-linear delay differential equations are given. Our results essentially improve, complement and simplify a number of related ones in the literature, especially those from a recent ...

Oscillation Theorems for Second Order Sublinear Ordinary Differential Equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
Oscillation criteria are given for the second order sublinear non-autonomous differential equation. (r(t) (x)x′(t))′ + q(t)g(x(t)) = (t). These criteria extends and improves earlier oscillation criteria of Kamenev, Kura, Philos and Wong.

Measurement of the Bs0-Bs0 oscillation frequency δms in Bs0→Ds-(3)π decays [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The Bs0-Bs0 oscillation frequency δms is measured with 36 pb-1 of data collected in pp collisions at s=7TeV by the LHCb experiment at the Large Hadron Collider.
