On the Frequency of a Nonlinear Oscillator
Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 2021In this paper, the author studies the question of the dependence of the frequency or the period on the energy in nonlinear oscillations. It is proved that the frequency depends on the energy monotonically under certain conditions. Moreover, the asymptotics of the period with respect to the energy is constructed for oscillations near separatrix ...

CML ring oscillators: oscillation frequency
ISCAS 2001. The 2001 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (Cat. No.01CH37196), 2002In this paper an analytical model of the oscillation frequency of a differential CML ring oscillator is proposed. The model helps to choose the bias current value to optimize speed, and it is useful to estimate the oscillation frequency changes associated with the bias current change and to process tolerances.

An Analytical Equation for the Oscillation Frequency of High-Frequency Ring Oscillators
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 2004An analytical equation for the oscillation frequency of a ring oscillator is derived. The derivation is done using a novel method which does not need to find an expression for the delay of each stage. The resulting equation includes the effect of time-varying parasitics.

Oscillation frequency in CML and ESCL ring oscillators
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Fundamental Theory and Applications, 2001In this paper a model to accurately evaluate even in a pencil-and-paper manner the oscillation frequency of a ring oscillator made up by a CML or ESCL differential gate is proposed. The model allows us to simply estimate the oscillation frequency changes due both to the bias current change and to process tolerances.

On high-frequency insulin oscillations
Ageing Research Reviews, 2008Insulin is released in a pulsatile manner, which results in oscillatory concentrations in blood. The oscillatory secretion improves release control and enhances the hormonal action. Insulin oscillates with a slow ultradian periodicity (approximately 140 min) and a high-frequency periodicity (approximately 6-10 min).

Ventilation by high-frequency oscillation
Journal of Applied Physiology, 1980The effect of applying a high-frequency small-volume sinusoidal oscillation at the airway was investigated in anesthetized apneic beagle dogs (mean wt 11 kg, mean VDphys 6.6 +/- 0.6 ml/kg). Oscillations generated by a piston in a cylinder were transmitter to the lungs through an uncuffed endotracheal tube (4.5 mm ID, 6.0 mm OD), which allowed a ...

A low frequency oscillator structure
2009 European Conference on Circuit Theory and Design, 2009We propose a novel RC sinusoidal oscillator architecture suitable for very low frequency generation. The oscillator is also attractive in the sense that the lower the oscillation frequency, the lower the necessary gain required to start oscillations. Further, the proposed architecture is active-circuit-independent and can be realized in any suitable ...

During high frequency oscillation (HFO) small volumes are delivered at frequencies up to 40 Hz; both inspiration and expiration are active. Oxygenation is controlled by the mean airway pressure level and carbon dioxide elimination by the delivered volume and, less so, by frequency. In some infants the delivered volume can be 50%-100% of the dead space.

Interaction of high-frequency and low-frequency oscillations in the synchronized oscillator
Radioelectronics and Communications Systems, 2015Theoretical analysis of the oscillation synchronization under conditions of simultaneous low-frequency and high-frequency external impact on the oscillator has been conducted using an example of the generalized Van der Pol oscillator. It was shown that the interaction of high-frequency and low-frequency oscillations resulted in the appearance of ...
