Trion oscillator strength

Solid State Communications, 2003
Our new commutation technique for excitons interacting with electrons allowed us to derive the X− trion expansion in terms of exciton–electron pairs while taking exactly into account the fact that the exciton can be made with any of the two electrons.

Oscillator strengths in porphyrins

Chemical Physics Letters, 1971
Abstract Oscillator strengths for D 4h and D 2h porphyrins are calculated using the dipole gradient formulation and compared with calculations employing the dipole length operator. The effect of configuration interaction is also discussed.

Theorem for Generalized Oscillator Strengths

Physical Review, 1958
A theorem for generalized oscillator strengths is presented. The theorem should prove useful in the interpretation of experimental and theoretical electronic collision cross sections.

Dipole and Oscillator Strengths of Chromophores in Solution¶

Photochemistry and Photobiology, 2003
A widely published expression for dipole strengths of optical transitions is found to require correction. The proposed adjustment, which involves the refractive index of the solvent in which the strengths are measured, may lead to significant changes in predictions that have been based on the equation.

Oscillator strengths for helium

Canadian Journal of Physics, 1970
Oscillator strengths for 95 singlet and triplet s–p and p–d transitions in neutral helium have been calculated using analytical wave functions of the "frozen-core" type. Both length and velocity formulations of the oscillator strengths have been employed. Our results are generally in good agreement with the most accurate values available.

The measurement of oscillator strengths

Reports on Progress in Physics, 1986
The methods and techniques currently used to measure oscillator strengths (or, equivalently, f-values and transition probabilities) are reviewed. Both linear and non-linear optical methods are discussed.

Accurate oscillator strengths

Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section B: Beam Interactions with Materials and Atoms, 1988
Abstract Accurate multiconfiguration Hartree-Fock (MCHF) ƒ-values are compared with the most reliable theoretical values obtained by other theories and recent laser beam experiments. For the 2 3 S-2 3 P transition in Li II, MCHF results are in excellent agreement with those of Schiff et al.

Oscillator strengths for the transitions in Ca xiii

Physical Review A, 1993
The absorption oscillator strengths for a number of transitions among LS states and the fine-structure levels calculated using extensive configuration interaction in the wave functions are reported. The relativistic results are obtained adopting an intermediate-coupling scheme through the use of the terms of the Breit-Pauli Hamiltonian.
