Experimental oscillator strengths in NeVII

Physics Letters A, 1972
Abstract Mean life measurements have been made for the 2s2p 1 P° level in NeVII, as well as for the doubly excited parent level, 2p 2 1 D.

Oscillator strengths in tetrahedral semiconductors

Physical Review B, 1976
Values of the optical matrix elements are estimated from experimental values of the dielectric constant and the energy of the optical reflectivity peak. The matrix elements of the momentum operator are found independent of polarity, as in studies by Lawaetz and by Cohen.

H2 Lyman-Band Oscillator Strengths

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1968
Absorption oscillator strengths for thirty rotational lines in nine vibrational bands of the Lyman transition, B 1Σu+, of H2 have been obtained from equivalent widths measured photoelectrically under high resolution. Argon and helium continua were used in the third and first orders, respectively, of the grating.

Oscillator strengths for neutral technetium

Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, 1981
Oscillator strengths are calculated for lines in the spectrum of neutral technetium which may be of importance in the study of stellar spectra. The calculations were performed by the setting up and diagonalization of the energy matrices of the 4d56S5s5p and 4d65D5p partial configurations for the 37 classified energy levels of odd parity arising from ...

Optical oscillator strengths for lithium

International Journal of Quantum Chemistry, 1980
AbstractA simple two‐parameter analytic potential adjusted so as to reproduce the experimental energy levels is used to generate wave functions for the ground and excited states of the lithium atom. Using these wave functions in conjunction with the Born approximation and the Russell–Saunders LS‐coupling scheme, we calculate the optical oscillator ...

Oscillator Strengths and Transition Probabilities

1997
The radiative characteristics of atoms and ions such as oscillator strengths, transition probabilities, lifetimes of excited states and others required for fundamental research and physical applications are considered here. The last Section comprises the data on the angular coefficients used for the calculation of oscillator strengths and excitation ...

Optical oscillator strengths for neon

Journal of Quantitative Spectroscopy and Radiative Transfer, 1978
Abstract An analytic atomic independent particle model is used to calculate optical oscillator strengths for 2 p-ns and 2 p-nd transitions in neon. Impressive agreements are obtained with the results of Hartree-Fock-Slater calculations and experiment.
