Oscillatory Behavior in Methane Combustion: Influence of the Operating Parameters

open access: yesEnergy & Fuels, 2018
The influence of the main process parameters on the oscillatory behavior of methane oxidation was analyzed in conditions relevant for low-temperature combustion processes.

Asymptotic behavior of even-order noncanonical neutral differential equations

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2022
In this article, we study the asymptotic behavior of even-order neutral delay differential equation (a⋅(u+ρ⋅u∘τ)(n−1))′(ℓ)+h(ℓ)u(g(ℓ))=0,ℓ≥ℓ0,{(a\cdot {(u+\rho \cdot u\circ \tau )}^{(n-1)})}^{^{\prime} }(\ell )+h(\ell )u(g(\ell ))=0,\hspace{1.0em}\ell ...

Oscillatory Behavior of second order nonlinear differential equations with a Sublinear neutral Term

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2018
The authors establish some new criteria for the oscillation of solutions of second order nonlinear differential equations with a sublinear neutral term by reducing the equation to a linear one. Their results are illustrated with an example.

Squeezing of Primordial Gravitational Waves as Quantum Discord

open access: yesUniverse, 2020
We investigate the squeezing of primordial gravitational waves (PGWs) in terms of quantum discord. We construct a classical state of PGWs without quantum discord and compare it with the Bunch−Davies vacuum.

On the Qualitative Analysis of Solutions of Two Fractional Order Fractional Differential Equations

open access: yesMathematics
In applied sciences, besides the importance of obtaining the analytical solutions of differential equations with constant coefficients, the qualitative analysis of the solutions of such equations is also very important.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Investigation of the Oscillatory Properties of Fourth-Order Delay Differential Equations Using a Comparison Approach with First- and Second-Order Equations

open access: yesAxioms
This paper investigates the oscillatory behavior of solutions to fourth-order functional differential equations (FDEs) with multiple delays and a middle term.

Blood‐based proteomic profiling reveals context‐dependent changes in BCL2‐associated signaling during taxane therapy in breast cancer patients

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

Dynamics for Nonlinear Difference Equation xn+1=(αxn−k)/(β+γxn−lp)

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2009
We mainly study the global behavior of the nonlinear difference equation in the title, that is, the global asymptotical stability of zero equilibrium, the existence of unbounded solutions, the existence of period two solutions, the existence of ...

Minimal oscillating subnetwork in the Huang-Ferrell model of the MAPK cascade. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2017
Prompted by the recent growing evidence of oscillatory behavior involving MAPK cascades we present a systematic approach of analyzing models and elucidating the nature of biochemical oscillations based on reaction network theory.
