Rainfall and Temperature Explain Colony Variation in Echolocation Calls of the Intermediate Horseshoe Bats (<i>Rhinolophus affinis</i>). [PDF]
We investigated how environmental factors and body size drive colony‐level variation in echolocation calls of Rhinolophus affinis at a landscape level. Our analyses revealed a positive correlation between monthly mean precipitation and peak frequency of echolocation calls in males.

VOCAL REPERTORY OF TWO SPECIES OF THE LEPTODACTYLUS PENTADACTYLUS GROUP (ANURA, LEPTODACTYLIDAE) [PDF]
Among frogs, vocalizations play important roles in their social interactions. Herein we describefi ve new types of vocalizations for two foam-nesting species of the Leptodactylus pentadactylusgroup, L. syphax and L. labyrinthicus. Behavioral observations

Counter operation in nonlinear micro-electro-mechanical resonators [PDF]
This paper discusses a logical operation of multi-memories that consist of coupled nonlinear micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) resonators. A MEMS resonator shows two coexisting stable states when nonlinear responses appear.

'What Does the Anemonefish Say?': Investigating <i>Amphiprion percula</i>'s Acoustic Behaviour. [PDF]
This study investigates the vocal behaviour of wild Amphiprion percula in Papua New Guinea, revealing that distinct acoustic signals correspond to specific social interactions and are influenced by behaviour and rank. The findings underscore the importance of in situ research for understanding fish communication and highlight potential disruptions from

Nonlinear Switched-Capacitor Networks: Basic Principles and Piecewise-Linear Design [PDF]
The applicability of switched-capacitor (SC) components to the design of nonlinear networks is extensively discussed in this paper. The main objective is to show that SC's can be efficiently used for designing nonlinear networks.
