Identifying Spatial Patterns of Egg Nursery Habitat for a Demersal Shark in the Northwestern Mediterranean Sea: Conservation and Management Implications

open access: yesDiversity and Distributions, Volume 31, Issue 2, February 2025.
ABSTRACT Aim Oviparous elasmobranchs lay benthic eggs with long incubation periods, many of which also require habitat‐forming sessile organisms for their development. However, they are threatened by bottom‐trawling fishing impacts. Here, we aimed to identify the suitable habitat distribution of small‐spotted catshark (Scyliorhinus canicula) egg ...

Carbon Binder Domain Inhomogeneity in Silicon‐Monoxide/Graphite Composite Anode by 2D Multiphysics Modeling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 11, Issue 29, August 7, 2024.
An electrochemo‐mechanical model is built to explore the impact of carbon‐binder domain (CBD) inhomogeneity on SiO/Graphite composite anode performance. It reveals that a lower CBD proportion near the anode surface enhances electrochemical performance but may increase mechanical failure risks.

Impedance Inhomogeneity in SiO/Gr Composite Anode

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 4, Issue 7, July 2024.
Silicon/carbon anode shows impedance inhomogeneity. An electrochemo‐mechanical‐coupled model is established, incorporating detailed particle geometries of anode. The model is employed to investigate polarization components and their evolution during the charging/discharging process.

Social influence and social identity: A diffusion model analysis

open access: yesBritish Journal of Social Psychology, Volume 63, Issue 3, Page 1137-1155, July 2024.
Abstract Building on the seminal studies of Solomon Asch and Muzafer Sherif, recent research has advanced our understanding of the mechanisms underlying social influence by applying a diffusion model analysis. Here, we combined the social identity approach to social influence with a diffusion model analysis to unravel the mechanisms underlying social ...

Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxane D3h‐(RSiO1.5)14

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 30, Issue 16, March 15, 2024.
The systematic synthesis and solid state structure of the elusive D3h isomer of the T14 silsesquioxane scaffold as phenyl‐substituted T14Ph14 derivative is reported. Trifluoromethanesulfonic acid (TfOH) catalysis enables the condensation of two incompletely condensed T7Ph7(OH)3 silsesquioxanes.

Toward a fundamental understanding of the heterogeneous multiphysics behaviors of silicon monoxide/graphite composite anodes

open access: yesCarbon Energy, Volume 6, Issue 1, January 2024.
An electro–chemo–mechanics‐coupled detailed model containing particle geometries is established to quantitatively understand the regulation between silicon monoxide (SiO) and graphite (Gr) during the electrochemical cycling in SiO/Gr composite anode.

Niveles de calcio sérico en pacientes con aborto espontáneo Levels of serum calcium in patients with spontaneous abortion
