Primary care experiences of family caregivers using the same medical facility as their care recipient or a different facility

open access: yesJournal of General and Family Medicine, Volume 26, Issue 4, Page 297-304, July 2025.
Our study found that family caregivers who used a different medical facility from their care recipient reported more negative primary care experiences than caregivers using the same facility. Greater efforts may be needed to provide patient‐centered, family‐oriented primary care for these caregivers.

Heterologous Surface Display Reveals Conserved Complement Inhibition and Functional Diversification of Borrelia burgdorferi Elp Proteins

open access: yesMolecular Microbiology, Volume 124, Issue 1, Page 77-90, July 2025.
A novel approach using the Pseudomonas syringae ice nucleation protein (INP) system to present Borrelia burgdorferi lipoproteins on the surface of Escherichia coli reveals conservation of complement inhibitory functions among uncharacterized OspE/F‐like leader peptide (Elp) proteins.

Metal‐Mediated Protein Engineering within Live Cells

open access: yesChemistry – An Asian Journal, Volume 20, Issue 6, March 17, 2025.
This review discusses how metal ions can mediate protein modification within live cells. With its easy handling, rapid solubility, and ease of internalization within the cells, metal ions can be an excellent stimulus for many organic reactions needed within an intracellular medium, which can modify proteins and lead to applications in chemistry ...

Variations in Wireless Network Topology Inference: Recent Evolution, Challenges, and Directions

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
This paper first presents an overview of the basic concepts and significance of network topology inference, followed by a brief review of cooperative methods. It then provides a comprehensive summary of non‐cooperative methods. To facilitate performance comparison, a unified dataset and evaluation metrics are employed to analyse four representative non‐
