Human periosteum‐derived cell spheroids bioprinted at high density within a hyaluronic acid matrix promote fusion and hypertrophic cartilage formation in vitro. Early encapsulation enhances spheroid interaction and matrix maturation, generating scalable cartilage templates intended for endochondral bone regeneration.

New Spontaneous Model of Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva [PDF]
We report the first known example of spontaneous, naturally occurring fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP) in a mammal. The Southeast Asian mouse deer of the genus _Tragulus_ (Artiodactyla: Tragulidae) have an osseous sheath covering the lower ...

Management of fibro-osseous lesions of the craniofacial area: presentation of 19 cases and review of the literature [PDF]
Introduction: Fibro-osseous lesions constitute a rare benign type of pathology with a non-odontogenic lineage that affect the craniofacial area. According to Waldrom's classification, these lesions are divided into: fibrous dysplasia (FD), cemento ...

Recapitulating Endochondral Ossification for Bone Repair: From Development to Engineering Strategy
This review summarizes the developmental basis of endochondral ossification (ECO) and its applications in bone tissue engineering (BTE). It first outlines the key biological processes and signaling pathways underlying ECO, then discusses biomaterial‐based engineering strategies derived from these principles, and finally highlights future directions for

A bioinspired nanozyme—triphenylphosphonium (TPP)‐dendritic mesoporous silica nanoparticle (DMSN)‐Fe/Cu—mimics mitochondrial complex IV and targets mitochondria to regulate cellular energy metabolism. This approach markedly boosts bone regeneration in vivo, as demonstrated by enhanced bone volume and mineral density in critical‐sized bone defects rat ...

Ossifying Fibroma of Dorsal Spine in a Postpartum Female: A Rare Case Report
A rare case of monostotic ossifying fibroma of the dorsal spine in a postpartum woman is being described. Ossifying fibromas of the spine are very rare tumors. They are components of benign fibro-osseous lesions. We report a case of an 18-year-old woman,

ERK‐Mediated Phosphorylation of YAP Defines a Noncanonical FGF Signaling Mechanism in Stem Cells
With a powerful combination of in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro models, the authors highlight a novel FGF‐ERK signaling regulation of YAP at the S128 site in neural crest‐derived stem cells. This study opens exciting new directions in stem cell biology and craniofacial biology, paving the way for potential innovations in the treatment of craniofacial ...
