The “Three in One” Bone Repair Strategy for Osteoporotic Fractures
In aging society, osteoporotic fractures have become one major social problem threatening the health of the elderly population in China. Compared with conventional fractures, low bone mass, bone defect and retarded healing issues of osteoporotic ...

Pearl‐Like Bioinspired Coating Enables Regulation of Mg Degradation for Osteoporotic Bone Repair
In this study, inspired by pearl architecture, we developed a layered Ca–P “brick” and Fn‐mimetic peptide “mortar” coating on Mg alloys. The Ca–P layer moderates corrosion and offers mineral cues, while the peptide enhances adhesion and regulates immune‐vascular responses.

An efficient paradigm for genetic epidemiology cohort creation. [PDF]
Development of novel methodologies to efficiently create large genetic epidemiology cohorts is needed. Here we describe a rapid, precise and cost-efficient method for collection of DNA from cases previously experiencing an osteoporotic fracture by ...

Artificial Intelligence for Bone: Theory, Methods, and Applications
Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) offer the potential to improve bone research. The current review explores the contributions of AI to pathological study, biomarker discovery, drug design, and clinical diagnosis and prognosis of bone diseases. We envision that AI‐driven methodologies will enable identifying novel targets for drugs discovery. The
