Analysis of Three Approaches to the Pterygomaxillary Region in the Le Fort I Osteotomy

open access: yesOral Surgery, Volume 18, Issue 3, Page 302-311, August 2025.
ABSTRACT Objective The purpose of this study was to measure the association between the Le Fort I osteotomy technique and the pterygomaxillary separation pattern. Materials and Methods The sample was comprised of the medical records of 39 patients undergoing orthognathic surgery. The type of Le Fort I osteotomy technique was divided into three groups: (

Photo‐Curable Triazinetrione Composites With Tunable Degradation for Fracture Stabilization and Flexible Thin‐Film Applications

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 142, Issue 25, July 5, 2025.
Injectable photo‐curable composites are emerging as an attractive alternative to address the limitations of metal plates in fracture fixation. Their customizable composition makes them highly adaptable for a wide range of biomedical applications. By incorporating hydrolysable linkages into the polymeric network and combining them with inorganic fillers

Mechanical Load‐Induced Upregulation of Talin2 through Non‐Canonical Deubiquitination of OTUB1 Drives Facet Joint Osteoarthritis Pathogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 25, July 3, 2025.
Facet joint osteoarthritis (FJOA), prevalent in the elderly, involves Talin2 upregulation promoting ECM degradation while suppressing synthesis. Mechanical load stabilizes Talin2 via OTUB1‐mediated non‐canonical deubiquitination, driving CCL2 expression that recruits immune cells, exacerbating inflammatory joint degeneration.
