Ostracods (Crustacea) through Permian–Triassic events
Earth-Science Reviews, 2014Abstract Through geological times, the main turnover of marine ostracod group occurred at the Permian–Triassic boundary (PTB) when the Palaeozoic world gave way to Meso-Cenozoic world. As quite all the groups, ostracods intensively suffered of the end Palaeozoic events but they have the particularity to pass the PTB and to be present in quite all ...

A review of exceptional preservation in fossil ostracods (Ostracoda, Crustacea)
, 2020Ostracods are the most abundantly preserved arthropod group in the fossil record, but they are almost entirely represented only by their calcitic carapaces.

In the quest to ascertain the selective agents sustaining sex, much effort has been directed to studies of the origin and fate of asexuals. Ostracod crustaceans are of particular importance to this work, as they appear to show the highest incidence of transitions to parthenogenesis of any animal group.

I. -Les Ostracodes benthiques/ The benthic Ostracods
