APPROPRIATE INFORMATICS TECHNOLOGY /AIT/11In the course of the preparation of the first UNESCO/IBI Intergovernmental Conference on Strategies and Policies for Informatics /SPIN/ as Head of Computer Science Unit in UNESCO, the discussion with a number of specialists allowed me the luxury of getting acquainted with certain problems of informatics in different countries.
