Single Top as Window on Heavy Quarks and Other New Physics
This paper discusses what the study of the electroweak production of single top quarks can tell us about additional quark generations, and how to distinguish the new quarks hypothesis from other kinds of new physics. We also suggest some new studies that

Impact of b → c measurements on Λb→pτν¯ decay in U1 leptoquark model
The measurements of several lepton flavor universality (LFU) violating observables in the decays induced by the quark level transition b→cτν¯ provide an inkling of plausible physics beyond the standard model of electroweak interactions.

ABSTRACT Background Cerebellar ataxia after pediatric brain tumor treatment can cause persistent gait, balance, and speech impairment, yet no established rehabilitation strategy exists. Somato‐cognitive coordination therapy (SCCT) is a virtual reality–guided intervention designed to promote sensorimotor integration through visually constrained reaching

ABSTRACT Background Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common pediatric cancer, with an overall survival now surpassing 90% in developed countries. However, treatments are not without adverse effects. In this study, we apply the severe toxicity‐free survival (STFS) framework to determine the prevalence of 21 physician‐defined severe ...

Comparison of university students’ understanding of graphs in different contexts
This study investigates university students’ understanding of graphs in three different domains: mathematics, physics (kinematics), and contexts other than physics.

A review of the coupled criterion [PDF]
We provide a review of recent works about the Coupled Criterion (CC), originally developed to assess the initiation of a crack and thus overcome a main limitation of linear elastic fracture mechanics.

ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.

ABSTRACT Pediatric radiation therapy presents unique challenges compared to adult treatments, including those of immobilization, potential need for sedation, and the critical importance of accurate, reproducible positioning. Additionally, heightened attention to imaging doses is necessary to minimize long‐term toxicity in survivors.
