Gaussian Mixture Modeling of MRI‐Derived Torus Tubarius and Inferior Turbinate Mucosal Morphometrics: Implications for Nasal Cycling and Eustachian Tube Interventions

open access: yesLaryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology, Volume 10, Issue 6, December 2025.
Thickness of torus tubarius (TT) mucosa overhanging the Eustachian tube (ET) ostium is pertinent to ET balloon tuboplasty. We provide normative TT mucosal morphometrics, and establish that TT mucosal thickness unlikely exhibits variations similar to the nasal cycle.

Patient Self‐Recorded Digital Otoscopy in Otology Diagnostics

open access: yesLaryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology, Volume 10, Issue 6, December 2025.
Patient self‐recorded digital otoscopy (DO) was compared to DO performed by an ENT resident.
