Social recognition and short‐term memory in two taxa of striped mouse with differing social systems
Solitary (R. d. chakae) and group‐living (R. pumilio) striped mouse taxa did not differ in social recognition memory. Solitary taxon preferred familiar to unknown conspecific females, but group‐living taxon showed equal preference. Group‐living taxon was more motivated to investigate conspecific females than solitary taxon.

Elevation filters bat, rodent and shrew communities differently by morphological traits
Abstract Aim Mountains are geographic features that provide sharp elevational gradients which can accommodate a diversity of terrestrial flora and fauna. In the face of climate change, many of these species are being pushed higher to escape ever‐increasing temperatures.
