Recent estimates of the out-of-pocket expenditure on health care in Australia [PDF]
Objective The aims of this study were to estimate the average annual out-of-pocket (OOP) expenditure on health care by households in Australia in 2015–16, and to compare this with the estimate for 2009–10. Methods Data from the most ...

As‐spun carbon materials produced from Lignosulfonate, gelatin, and alginate, selected for water solubility, and ability to produce templated sustainable carbon nanostructures. Gelatin and alginate are sacrificial during thermal processing, allowing the production of engineered high surface area nanostructures, which are further characterized for ...

Introduction: The financial burden of health care costs in Nigeria is borne almost entirely by the individuals and household members as health care financing is still mostly from out of pocket (OOP) payments. OOP payments can lead households into poverty.

An orbital‐hybridizable nanoseed (OHNS) interphase induces strong orbital hybridization between Zn and carbon edges, accelerating Zn nucleation while suppressing 2D surface diffusion. This interfacial electronic regulation drives uniform, dense, and (002)‐oriented Zn growth, enabling stable and fast charging behavior in anode‐free aqueous Zn batteries.

Out-of-pocket expenditure and distress financing on institutional delivery in India [PDF]
Despite large investment in central and state sponsored schemes for maternal care, out-of-pocket expenditure (OOPE) and catastrophic health spending (CHS) on institutional delivery remain high over time, across states and across socio-economic groups. Though many studies have examined the OOPE and CHS, few studies have examined the nature and extent of
