In this paper we analyze the outage performance of a multihop cooperative relay network where relays in the system can change positions dynamically and use all possible links to forward the message to the next hop over Rayleigh fading channels. Outage probability at finite SNR [PDF]
In this thesis, we present a technique to reduce the outage probability of a single user multiple input multiple output (MIMO) channel when a sub-optimal transceiver architecture is used. We show that in slow-fading scenarios, the outage probability can be improved by using unitary rotations combined with coding.
