The 2011 Outburst of Recurrent Nova T Pyx: X-ray Observations Expose the White Dwarf Mass and Ejection Dynamics [PDF]
The recurrent nova T Pyx underwent its sixth historical outburst in 2011, and became the subject of an intensive multi-wavelength observational campaign.

X-ray outbursts of low-mass X-ray binary transients observed in the RXTE era
We have performed a statistical study of the properties of 110 bright X-ray outbursts in 36 low-mass X-ray binary transients (LMXBTs) seen with the All-Sky Monitor (2--12 keV) on board the {\it Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer} ({\it RXTE}) in 1996--2011.

Resumption of mass accretion in RS Oph [PDF]
The latest outburst of the recurrent nova RS Oph occurred in 2006 February. Photometric data presented here show evidence of the resumption of optical flickering, indicating re-establishment of accretion by day 241 of the outburst.

Failure Mechanism of Coal and Gas Outburst Initiation
Abstract Based on the concept that the initiation of coal and gas outburst is the failure of coal and rock mass, the relevant stability theory is applied to build a nonlinear dynamics model of outburst initiation, and the failure mechanism of outburst initiation is systematically analyzed.

Control of coal and gas outbursts in Huainan mines in China: A review
Coal extraction in Huainan area is basically characterized by one of typical multi-seam mining conditions observed in China, where coal is mined in soft seams characterized by high gas content, high stress, low permeability and difficult geological ...

INTEGRAL study of temporal properties of bright flares in Supergiant Fast X-ray Transients [PDF]
We have characterized the typical temporal behaviour of the bright X-ray flares detected from the three Supergiant Fast X-ray Transients showing the most extreme transient behaviour (XTEJ1739-302, IGRJ17544-2619, SAXJ1818.6-1703).

Study on cause of coal and gas outburst accident based on D-S evidence theory and Bayesian network
To explore the mechanism and influencing factors of coal and gas outburst accidents in coal mines, the factors inducing coal and gas outburst accidents were selected from four aspects: human, machine, environment and management, and the risk of accidents
