A Quantitative Printability Framework for Programmable Assembly of Pre‐Vascular Patterns via Laser‐Induced Forward Transfer

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Laser‐Induced Forward Transfer (LIFT) is presented as a powerful micropatterning tool. An objective printability framework is developed to assess optimal printing parameter combinations. The technology is further explored for its ability to deterministically deposit microdroplets at predefined locations following CAD designs, enabling the patterning of

Evolutionary game analysis of online game studios and online game companies participating in the virtual economy of online games.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
In the context of the new economic development in the post-pandemic era, "play" labor as an important component of digital work has become an inexhaustible driving force for the growth of the digital economy. Previous research has shown that "play" labor,

UM MODELO FUZZY-DEA-GAME PARA ESTRATÉGIAS DE PRODUÇÃO SOB INCERTEZA [PDF]

open access: yesRAE: Revista de Administração de Empresas, 2015
This study develops a new Fuzzy-DEA-Game (FDG) model to support the establishment of production strategies. This model combines Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) with concepts of Fuzzy Set Theory and Nash Bargaining Game. The model permits an evaluation of

Evolution of Preferences [PDF]

open access: yes
We model, using evolutionary game theory, the implications of endogenous determination of preferences over the outcomes of any given two-player normal form game, G. We consider a large population randomly and repeatedly matched to play G. Each individual

Interfacial Bioengineering of Dynamic Networks Hybrid Hydrogel for Programmed Intervention in Oral Precancerous Epithelial States

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study develops a dual‐bioinspired hydrogel, MSA@PGel (macrophage membrane‐coated and salvianolic acid B/5‐aminolevulinic acid co‐loaded liposomes embedded in a polydopamine‐based gel), that integrates macrophage membrane‐mediated active targeting and mussel‐inspired wet adhesion for programmed intervention in oral precancerous lesions.

Modeling and optimization of networked evolutionary game based on incomplete information with switched topologies

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications
In the realm of evolutionary game theory, the majority of scenarios involve players with incomplete knowledge, specially regarding their opponents' actions and payoffs compounded by the ever‐shifting landscape of players' interactions.

Colonel Blotto Games and Lancaster's Equations: A Novel Military Modeling Combination [PDF]

open access: yes
Military strategists face a difficult task when engaged in a battle against an adversarial force. They have to predict both what tactics their opponent will employ and the outcomes of any resultant conflicts in order to make the best decision about their

Ti6Al4V‐Bioglass‐Copper Composites for Load‐Bearing Implants

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We have designed and manufactured a novel Ti64‐based composite by adding 45S5 bioglass (BG) and copper (Cu). Adding BG on titanium improves wear resistance and biocompatibility, whereas Cu addition improves mechanical strength while providing inherent lifelong bacterial resistance.

Game theory applications in managing stakeholder conflicts for building safety and resilience against natural disasters

open access: yesProgress in Disaster Science
The safety and resilience of buildings and housing against natural disasters, as a key urban element, are vital for sustainable development. Ensuring the safety and resilience of buildings and communities in the face of disasters is a complex and ...

Is altruism evolutionarily stable ? [PDF]

open access: yes
We develop an evolutionary approach to explain altruistic preferences. Given their preferences, individuals interact rationally with each other. By comparing the success of players with different preferences, we investigate whether evolution favors ...
