Advanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.This study explores upcycling poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) from used pharmaceutical blisters into sustainable radiative cooling materials. Using solvent separation and membrane fabrication, PVC was converted into white membranes paired with aluminum foil.

Collision‐Resilient Winged Drones Enabled by Tensegrity Structures
Advanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.Based on structures of birds such as the woodpeck, this article presents the collision‐resilient aerial robot, SWIFT. SWIFT leverages tensegrity structures in the fuselage and wings which allow it to undergo large deformations in a crash, without sustaining damage. Experiments show that SWIFT can reduce impact forces by 70% over conventional structures.

The first program (interior noise analysis or INA) estimates noise level inside a room exposed to any one of over 30 sources of exterior noise.

Advanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.Visual teach‐and‐repeat (VTR) navigation allows robots to learn and follow routes without building a full metric map. We show that navigation accuracy for VTR can be improved by integrating a topological map with error‐drift correction based on stereo vision.
