Sympathetic Vasodilator Outflow
Physiological Reviews, 1954Abstract : Excitation of the sympathetic vasodilator outflow by hypothalamic and medullary stimulation causes a concomitant increase of cardiac contractile force and of skeletal muscle blood flow indicating those effects being integral parts of the reaction pattern elicited by intracerebral activation of the sympathetic vasodilator system.

Outflows from accreting, rotating, and magnetized systems are ubiquitous. Protostellar outflows can be observed from radio to X-ray wavelengths in the continuum and a multitude of spectral lines that probe a wide range of physical conditions, chemical phases, radial velocities, and proper motions. Wide-field visual and near-IR data, mid-IR observations

Abstract The term outflow channel was coined by Sharp and Malin (1975) to denote large channels, several to tens of kilometers across, that start full size at discrete sources. Tributaries are rare but branching downstream is common.
