Bio‐Orthogonally Crosslinked Supramolecular Polymer Bottlebrush Hydrogels for Long‐Term 3D Cell Culture

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Fibrous benzenetrispeptide (BTP) hydrogels, fabricated via strain‐promoted azide‐alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) crosslinking, form robust, bioinert networks. These hydrogels can support 3D cell culture, where cell viability and colony growth depend on the fiber content.

Uniform In‐Plane Growth of Large‐Area Ultrathin Zn2(benzimidazole)4 Membrane

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A multicycle, ultradilute exposure strategy enables uniform in‐plane growth of ultrathin Zn2(benzimidazole)4 membranes on graphene, suppressing bulk nucleation and defects. The resulting centimeter‐scale films deliver high H2/CO2 separation performance, and are highly reproducible.

Universal Electronic‐Structure Relationship Governing Intrinsic Magnetic Properties in Permanent Magnets

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Permanent magnets derive their extraordinary strength from deep, universal electronic‐structure principles that control magnetization, anisotropy, and intrinsic performance. This work uncovers those governing rules, examines modern modeling and AI‐driven discovery methods, identifies critical bottlenecks, and reveals electronic fingerprints shared ...

An Automated Cropland Burned-Area Detection Algorithm Based on Landsat Time Series Coupled with Optimized Outliers and Thresholds

open access: yesFire
Given the increasingly severe global fires, the accurate detection of small and fragmented cropland fires has been a significant challenge. The use of medium-resolution satellite data can enhance detection accuracy; however, key challenges in this ...
