Detección de outliers multivariables mediante projection pursuit

open access: yes, 1999
Tanto en inferencia estadística como en el análisis de datos experimentales, ya sean univariables o multivariables. Es esencial evaluar la calidad de los datos sujetos a estudio. Es por ello que se hace necesario explorar y construir métodos que ayuden a

Programmable Functional Silicification of DNA Origami Nanostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces additional functionality into silica‐coated DNA origami nanostructures using non‐standard silica precursors. A fluorescent precursor enables enhanced intracellular tracking, while a disulfide‐containing reagent yields redox‐responsive, degradable silica coatings.

Elastomeric 3D‐Printed Microenvironments Enable Nanonewton Force Measurements in Healthy and Diseased Human Pluripotent Stem Cell‐Derived Neuroepithelial Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We present elastomeric three‐dimensional (3D) microstructures fabricated via two‐photon polymerization (2PP) and post‐processed through wet etching, for quantifying nanonewton (nN)‐scale forces applied by healthy and diseased neural cells. The mechanically characterized free‐standing beam architectures enable measurement of traction forces of ...

A Universal van der Waals Tunneling Injector for Monolayer CMOS

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A universal van der Waals injector unlocks polarity‐flexible tunneling contacts for monolayer CMOS. SnSe2, an intrinsically degenerate 2D semiconductor, establishes polarity‐specific band alignments with both WSe2 and MoS2 channels, enabling steep switching, high on/off ratios, and a unified route to low‐power 2D logic.

Wearable Morphology‐Adaptive in‐Ear Device With Active Cleansing Capability for Multimodal Health Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We present SCIENCE, an in‐ear multimodal physiological monitor featuring two key innovations. Water‐triggered morphological expansion (a 2‐mm cylinder to a 9‐mm spindle) achieves conformal adaptation across complex canal geometries. Simultaneously, active biofouling mitigation disrupts cerumen barriers, reducing sensor‐skin impedance by 20%.

Robust methods of building regression models : an application to the housing sector. [PDF]

open access: yes
This article studies robustification strategies for the linear model in the presence of outliers. The advantages of an internal analysis of the robustness of least squares for a given sample are pointed out.
