Arraying of microphotosynthetic power cells for enhanced power output
AbstractMicrophotosynthetic power cells (µPSCs) generate power through the exploitation of living photosynthetic microorganisms by harvesting sunlight. The thermodynamic limitations of this process restrict the power output of a single µPSC. Herein, we demonstrate µPSCs in four different array configurations to enhance power output from these power ...

This study with a placebo-controlled experimental design intends to investigate the effect of Royal Jelly (RJ) on the aerobic and anaerobic power output of sedentary men at a dose of 1000 mg/day. For this purpose, a total of 20 adult sedentary men aged 21 to 23 years were included in this study. The subjects visited the laboratory every day for 15 days

Analysis of wind power output characteristics and output prediction
Abstract A fuzzy clustering method and a prediction correction method based on the Copula function are used to establish an analytical model of wind power generation output characteristics. It also predicts the expected and corrected values of its power generation to alleviate the pressure on the grid caused by the high proportion of ...

Output Impedance Diffusion Into Lossy Power Lines [PDF]
Output impedances are inherent elements of power sources in the electrical grids. In this paper, we give an answer to the following question: What is the effect of output impedances on the inductivity of the power network? To address this question, we propose a measure to evaluate the inductivity of a power grid, and we compute this measure for various

Power Output Measurement during Treadmill Cycling
The study aim was to consider the use of a motorised treadmill as a cycling ergometry system by assessing predicted and recorded power output values during treadmill cycling. Fourteen male cyclists completed repeated cycling trials on a motorised treadmill whilst riding their own bicycle fitted with a mobile ergometer.

IT has been known for a long time that power output in man increases rapidly with decreasing duration of exercise, but there have been few systematic studies of this problem. Indeed, measurements of the power output of the body during a single movement lasting one-tenth of a second or less have not been made.

Power Amplifier Protection by Adaptive Output Power Control
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 2007Abstract Cellular phone power amplifiers (PAs) operate in strongly varying environments and have to withstand extreme conditions. To avoid destructive breakdown a generic protection concept is proposed that is based on adaptive control of the output power.
