Deformable Registration of Bronchoscopic Video Sequences to CT Volumes with Guaranteed Smooth Output [PDF]

open access: yesLecture Notes in Computer Science, 2011
We present a novel approach to tracking of flexible bronchoscopes by modeling the output as spatially continuous over time. Bronchoscopy is a widespread clinical procedure for diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases and navigation systems are highly needed. Tracking of the bronchoscope can be regarded as a deformable registration problem.

Registration of the optical output signal of distributed mechanoluminescent impulse pressure sensors

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2019
Abstract Distributed mechanoluminescent pulse pressure sensors are described in the article. The definition of mechanoluminescent sensors is given, early studies of this phenomenon and their results are also mentioned. On the basis of these studies, a mathematical model of transformation in a distributed mechanoluminescent sensor is ...

Data Output Devices in the System of the Measurement and Registration Center

1970
The data output devices for the measurement and registration center are time-shared and serve all information-gathering channels. On the one hand, therefore, such devices are used more compactly, and this is the great advantage of the MRC; on the other hand, they can be made with enhanced capabilities, thus reducing substantially the equipment ...

Continuous Registration of Blood Velocity and Cardiac Output with a Hot-Film Anemometer Probe, Mounted on a Swan-Ganz Thermodilution Catheter

European Surgical Research, 2008
In order to construct a catheter, capable of monitoring cardiac output, a specially designed double-conical hot-film anemometer probe was fastened at the tip of a Swan-Ganz thermodilution catheter. Common sources of error for most catheter velocity probes include difficult calibration, unknown velocity profile at the point of measurement and unknown ...
