Post‐Consumer Mechanical Recycling of Thermally Degraded Glass‐Fiber Reinforced Polyamide 6,6 for Electrical Applications

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, Volume 311, Issue 4, April 2026.
Post‐consumer mechanical recycling of PA66–GF composite with brominated flame‐retardant is assessed using accelerated thermal ageing to reproduce long‐term thermo‐oxidative degradation typical of electrical devices. Property retention is quantified across virgin, aged, recycled, and diluted recycled states through mechanical testing, microscopy, DSC ...

A Novel Active Rectifier With Embedded Current Monitoring Capabilities for Wireless Power Transfer Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, Volume 54, Issue 3, Page 1257-1267, March 2026.
Proposed active rectifier solution, detailing the high‐side and low‐side power switch control circuit for implementing the active diodes. ABSTRACT This paper proposes a novel active rectifier architecture for wireless power transfer (WPT) systems. In addition to performing rectification, the proposed structure features embedded current monitoring ...

A Rotor Voltage Compensation Method for Transient Voltage Dip in Grid‐Connected Power Systems With A High Proportion of Renewable Energy Under Ramp‐Type Gradual Disturbance

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2026.
This paper proposes a doubly fed induction generator rotor voltage compensation control to address transient voltage dips in renewable‐rich grids. By compensating for rotor electromotive forces, it suppresses current fluctuations and surges during asymmetrical faults.

Busbar Fault Direction Identification Using Sequences of Displacement Vectors

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 2, February 2026.
In this paper, a novel busbar fault direction identification scheme is presented. The proposed scheme is based on sequences of displacement vectors. The proposed algorithm is fast and simple enough to be embedded in a differential relay to assist the percentage‐restraint differential algorithm.

Superconducting fault current limiter application in a power-dense marine electrical system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Power-dense, low-voltage marine electrical systems have the potential for extremely high fault currents. Superconducting fault current limiters (SFCLs) have been of interest for many years and offer an effective method for reducing fault currents.
