Inverse Problems for a Generalized Subdiffusion Equation With Final Overdetermination
Mathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2019 We consider two inverse problems for a generalized subdiffusion equation that use the final overdetermination condition. Firstly, we study a problem of reconstruction of a specific space-dependent component in a source term.

NATURAL DIVINE CAUSATION, CAUSAL EXCLUSION, AND OVERDETERMINATION: COMMENT ON MIKAEL LEIDENHAG
Zygon, 2021 In his article “The Blurred Line between Theistic Evolution and Intelligent Design” and his response “The Problem of Natural Divine Causation and the Benefits of Partial Causation”, Mikael Leidenhag uses Jaegwon Kim's work on causal exclusion to ...

An Analysis of Kant's Viewpoint on the Criterion of Moral Value Based on Henson and Herman's Interpretations [PDF]
Journal of Philosophical Investigations, 2023 Kant argues that an action is morally worthy only if it is done not from inclination or self-interest but from duty. In the Groundwork, he provides examples to illustrate that the presence of motives aligned with duty undermines the moral value of an ...

Stability estimates for some parabolic inverse problems with the final overdetermination via a new Carleman estimate [PDF]
Mathematical methods in the applied sciences, 2023 This paper is about Hölder and Lipschitz stability estimates and uniqueness theorems for some coefficient inverse problems and associated inverse source problems for a general linear parabolic equation of the second order with variable coefficients.

Towards a Kenotic Identity Politics: Migration, Transformation and the Eucharist
Religions, 2021 This paper will focus on one element of the pushback against the massive influx of immigrants taken in for humanitarian purposes, namely, an identity-based chauvinism which uses identity as the point of resistance to the perceived dilution of that ...

Existence, uniqueness and stability of an inverse problem for two-dimensional convective Brinkman–Forchheimer equations with the integral overdetermination [PDF]
Banach Journal of Mathematical Analysis, 2022 In this article, we study an inverse problem for the following convective Brinkman–Forchheimer (CBF) equations: ut-μΔu+(u·∇)u+αu+β|u|r-1u+∇p=F:=fg,∇·u=0,\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts ...

Mathematical methods in the applied sciences, 2023 This paper considers the inverse problem of determining the time‐dependent coefficient in the time‐fractional diffusion‐wave equation. In this case, an initial boundary value problem was set for the fractional diffusion‐wave equation, and an additional ...

Control results with overdetermination condition for higher order dispersive system [PDF]
, 2021 In recent years, controllability problems for dispersive systems have been extensively studied. This work is dedicated to proving a new type of controllability for a dispersive fifth order equation that models water waves, what we will now call the ...
