Latent Poisson count models for action count data from technology‐enhanced assessments
Abstract Recent advances in computerized assessments have enabled the use of innovative item formats (e.g., drag‐and‐drop, scenario‐based), necessitating a flexible model that can capture systematic influence of item types on action counts. In this study, we present a refinement scheme that can explicitly model common features of items and allows ...

ABSTRACT This paper examines student admissions to higher education based on past performance, focusing on two measures: high school GPA and national exam scores. GPA is teacher‐assigned and based on repeated assessments, while these exams are externally graded, one‐off standardized tests. Using a nationwide dataset, we investigate how the relevance of

We summarize the current state of knowledge on the age of the Middle Pleistocene ice advances into northern central Europe and provide 25 new single‐grain feldspar luminescence ages of Elsterian and Saalian glacigenic sediments to constrain the age of the ice advances and their tentative correlation with marine isotope stages/substages.

Luminescence dating of coastal deposits from the Chanthaburi Plain, Thailand
The ongoing global sea‐level rise urges us to better understand the dynamics of coastal processes for predicting future changes. Sedimentary deposits reflect past coastal environments but require precise chronological data to place evidence into a temporal context.
