We present a minimal extension of the Hindley/Milner system to allow for overloading of identifiers. Our approach relies on a combination of the HM(X) type system framework with Constraint Handling Rules (CHRs). CHRs are a declarative language for writing incremental constraint solvers.

Iron overload disorders represent a heterogenous group of conditions resulting from inherited and acquired causes. With the discovery of new proteins and genetic defects we have gained greater insight into their causation at the molecular level and the complex mechanisms of normal and disordered iron homeostasis.

This paper reports on some recent investigations aimed at separating and clarifying a number of concepts that frequently appear in object-based and object-oriented languages. Concepts considered include are over-loading, encapsulation, the message paradigm, and a limited form of inheritance.

Structural cardiac volume overload comprises a group of heterogeneous diseases, each creating a nearly unique set of loading conditions on the left ventricle and/or right ventricle. In turn, the heart responds to each with unique patterns of remodeling, leading to both adaptive and maladaptive consequences.

Overloaded Test Method and Influence of Overload on Road
2012 Third International Conference on Digital Manufacturing & Automation, 2012Serious overloaded transportation phenomenon exists generally in China. There are some advanced apparatus to test overload. The WIM weighing apparatus is one of them. Overload causes tremendous threat to road traffic. Current situation of overloaded and its influence on road are analyzed.

Performance appraisals are traditionally seen as tools that can promote employee productivity. This article examines whether performance appraisals stimulate employee efforts beyond levels that employees regard as manageable, as measured by feelings of work overload.

Information overload and data overload in lexicography
International Journal of Lexicography, 2016Too often online dictionaries still display too many features determined by the restrictions that applied to printed dictionaries. Data overload in dictionary articles can be regarded as one such relic from the past. However, the idea that online dictionaries have unlimited space has furthered the often uncritical inclusion of too much data. This paper

Both hemochromatosis and β-thalassemia are caused by a deficiency of hepcidin, which represses expression of ferroportin at the surface of cells that export iron into the blood. Studies suggest that repressing expression of a hepcidin inhibitor ameliorates disease in mouse models.

The Cardiomyopathy of Overload
Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology, 1991Progressive deterioration of the failing heart is now recognized to be a major cause of disability and death in patients with congestive heart failure. It appears that although the normal human heart functions for at least 90-100 years, overload-induced hypertrophy shortens the heart's life span to about 5 years.
