NR4A1‐Driven Granulosa Cell Ferroptosis Contributes to Obesity‐Related Ovarian Dysfunction and Metformin‐Mediated Ovarian Protection

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 19, 15 October 2026.
Schematic illustrating that NR4A1‐driven granulosa cell ferroptosis mediates obesity‐related ovarian dysfunction, while metformin‐mediated ovarian protection is achieved via suppression of the PI3K/AKT–NR4A1 ferroptotic signaling cascade. ABSTRACT Obesity triggers ovarian dysfunction and female infertility accompanied by granulosa cell damage ...

Eupatilin Alleviates Acute Myocardial Ischemia‐Reperfusion Injury in Rats via the Akt/GSK‐3β Pathway by Targeting COXs

open access: yesJournal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology, Volume 40, Issue 10, October 2026.
It has been reported that eupatilin exerts cardioprotective effects after myocardial ischemia‐reperfusion injury (MIRI). This study further found that Eupatilin alleviated acute MIRI in rats by specifically inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COXs) and activating the Akt/GSK‐3β pathway, providing a theoretical basis for the application of eupatilin in ...

Influence of the overloaded vehicles elimination on the road pavement durability

International Conference on Road and Rail Infrastructure, 2018
Overloaded heavy vehicles is currently big issue in Europe. It is proved that overloading contributes to shortening the fatigue life of the pavement structure. To counteract this unfavourable phenomenon, effective tools for the elimination of overloaded vehicles should be developed, one of them being the use of Weigh-in-Motion (WIM) systems.
