Multidimensional oversampled filter banks

SPIE Proceedings, 2005
We present the characterization and design of multidimensional oversampled FIR filter banks. In the polyphase domain, the perfect reconstruction condition for an oversampled filter bank amounts to the invertibility of the analysis polyphase matrix, which is a rectangular FIR matrix.

Oversampled SigmaDelta Modulation

2009
Oversampled sigma-delta modulation has been proposed as a practical implementation for high rate analog-to-digital conversion because of its simplicity and its robustness against circuit imperfections. To date, mathematical developments of the basic properties of such systems have been based either on simplified continuous-time approximate models or on

Analytical treatment of oversampling

Experimental Astronomy, 1990
During searches for periodicity in very high energy (VHE) gamma ray data, the freedom usually exists to place a trial period anywhere within the spacing between independent periods normally associated with a Fourier transform of data of finite duration.

Nokia PureView oversampling technology

SPIE Proceedings, 2013
This paper describes Nokia’s PureView oversampling imaging technology as well as the product, Nokia 808 PureView, featuring it. The Nokia PureView imaging technology is the combination of a large, super high resolution 41Mpix with high performance Carl Zeiss optics.

Switched-current oversampling converters

IEEE Circuits and Devices Magazine, 1995
There are many choices in designing a real-time signal processing system. To exploit the advantages that inexpensive digital CMOS process technologies provide, it is usually a good choice to use digital signal processing circuits extensively and to use analog circuits only as a bridge between the real analog world and digital signal processing circuits.

Oversampled receive array calibration

2015 23rd European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO), 2015
The problem of receive antenna array calibration in cases where the array is strongly spatially "over-sampled" is addressed in this paper. We suggest a new technique wherein spatially distributed strong clutter returns can be used for calibration with the goal of minimizing the power at the output of a number of antenna finger-beams steered into the ...

Oversampled data conversion techniques

IEEE Circuits and Devices Magazine, 1990
The most commonly used sigma-delta modulators, their performance and their range of applications are discussed, and their performance is analyzed. Signal processing for analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters is discussed. >

Oversampled analog FIR filters

1991 International Conference on Circuits and Systems, 2002
A long line of analog delay elements accumulates noise, offset, supply coupled noise and clock feedthrough and consumes large area and power. It can be replaced by a simple binary shift register if the analog input is first coded by a Sigma - Delta modulator into a binary string.

Oversampling in wavelet subspaces

Proceedings of the IEEE-SP International Symposium on Time-Frequency and Time-Scale Analysis (Cat. No.98TH8380), 2002
Recently, several extensions of classical Shannon sampling theory to wavelet subspaces have been reported. This paper is devoted to uniform and periodic nonuniform oversampling in wavelet subspaces. Specifically, we provide a stability analysis and we introduce a technique for calculating the condition number of wavelet subspace sampling operators.

Oversampled modulated filter banks

1998
Oversampled filter banks (FBs) offer increased design freedom and noise immunity as compared to critically sampled FBs. Since these advantages come at the cost of greater computational complexity, oversampled FBs allowing an efficient implementation are of particular interest.
