Oversampled gain-boosting

Proceedings of the 2002 international symposium on Low power electronics and design - ISLPED '02, 2002
A dynamic gain-enhancement technique suitable for low-voltage low-power oversampling circuits, particularly sigma-delta converters, is presented. This method makes use of a discrete-time integrator to improve gradually the output resistance of the main amplifier over successive clocks.

An oversampling-based DTMF generator

IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1991
A circuit is described which uses one oversampling frequency synthesizer in an interleaved mode to generate dual-tone multifrequency (DTMF) telephone dialing tones. The synthesizer is based on direct digital synthesis using phase accumulation. The digital-to-analog conversion is carried out using a first-order sigma-delta converter.

Oversampling Expansion in Wavelet Subspaces

IEICE Transactions on Fundamentals of Electronics, Communications and Computer Sciences, 2011
We find necessary and sufficient conditions for the (shifted) oversampling expansions to hold in wavelet subspaces. In particular, we characterize scaling functions with the (shifted) oversampling property. We also obtain L2 and L∞ norm estimates for the truncation and aliasing errors of the oversampling expansion.

On the Oversampling of Affine Wavelet Frames

SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, 2003
Summary: The properties of oversampled affine frames are considered here with two main goals in mind. The first goal is to generalize the approach of \textit{C. K. Chui} and \textit{X. Shi} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 121, 511--517 (1994; Zbl 0802.41015), SIAM J. Math. Anal.

Nokia PureView oversampling technology

SPIE Proceedings, 2013
This paper describes Nokia’s PureView oversampling imaging technology as well as the product, Nokia 808 PureView, featuring it. The Nokia PureView imaging technology is the combination of a large, super high resolution 41Mpix with high performance Carl Zeiss optics.

Oversampled blind MLSDE receiver

2000 IEEE International Conference on Communications. ICC 2000. Global Convergence Through Communications. Conference Record, 2002
Oversampled blind maximum likelihood sequence detection and estimation (MLSDE) is proposed to improve the performance and robustness of the MLSDE receiver. The performance of the MLSDE receiver depends firmly on the assumed channel model and available knowledge about the channel parameters at the receiver.

Optimum oversampling

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1989
A kernel is developed that enables a bandlimited signal to be optimally reconstructed from a finite number N of samples taken at the Nyquist rate or faster. The point reconstruction error, which falls as only N−0.5 at the Nyquist frequency, drops exponentially with N if there is even moderate oversampling.

On the techniques of clock extraction and oversampling

HOT 9 Interconnects. Symposium on High Performance Interconnects, 2002
Based on a probabilistic analysis, we compare and contrast the characteristics of two well known techniques for data recovery in communication links based on serial data streams: clock extraction and oversampling. The approach chosen is that of determining the probability of error in recognizing the transmitted symbols in the presence of additive noise

Oversampled Sigma-Delta Modulation

IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1987
Summary: Oversampled sigma-delta modulation has been proposed as a practical implementation for high rate analog-to-digital conversion because of its simplicity and its robustness against circuit imperfections. To date, mathematical developments of the basic properties of such systems have been based either on simplified continuous-time approximate ...

On configurable oversampled A/D converters

IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1993
An oversampled A/D (analog-to-digital) converter that can be configured as either a sigma-delta converter or an incremental converter is presented. This is an oversampled instrumentation converter that cancels offset and 1/f noise. The converter architecture is based on a mixed analog-digital integrator (MADI) concept.
