Quasinormal spectra of a wormhole family: overtone features and a parameter-controlled redshift
Though investigated extensively in the past, we take a detailed relook at the study of quasinormal modes (QNM) in a known family of wormholes (ultrastatic ( $$g_{00}=-1$$ g 00 = - 1 ), as well as spacetimes with different, non-constant $$g_{00}$$ g 00 ),

ABSTRACT Background Platinum‐based chemotherapy is known to cause severe and debilitating hearing loss, but unlike cisplatin, the true incidence of carboplatin‐induced hearing loss remains unclear. We evaluated functional hearing outcomes in children receiving carboplatin to determine the incidence and severity of ototoxicity. Procedure We identified a

Discovery of HC9N ν19 overtones in IRC+10216
The sub-milliKelvin sensitivity achieved in the Q-band (31–50 GHz) line survey of IRC+10216 obtained with the Yebes 40m telescope reveals the presence of several new vibrational HC9N overtones (ν19 ≥ 2) beyond the already reported ν19 = 1.
