International Journal: Canada's Journal of Global Policy Analysis, 1949There appear to be at least six similarities between the previous case of pound overvaluation and devaluation and the present one. (1) As in the 1920's, so also in the recent post-war period, too high a value was chosen for the pound, partly to increase the prestige of London as a "sound" financial centre.

Are houses overvalued in the Netherlands? [PDF]
The movement of the level of house prices in the Netherlands between 1980 and 2007 is explainable fairly well by fundamental supply and demand factors. Empirical research has shown that the overvaluation of approximately 10% that existed in 2003 shrunk to approximately 0% in 2007.
