Comparative Single‐Cell Transcriptomic Atlas Reveals the Genetic Regulation of Reproductive Traits
A cross‐species single‐cell transcriptomic atlas of reproductive and central nervous system tissues from sheep and humans reveals conserved cellular programs and regulatory networks that regulated fertility. Integration with GWAS for sheep lifetime average litter size identifies UNC5–SLIT–BMP signaling as a core pathway coordinating neuroendocrine ...

Construction of pathogenic Sec16a mutation mouse model using CRISPR/Cas9
Yaqiang Hu et al. engineered a pathogenic Sec16a mutant mouse model using CRISPR/Cas9 technology. They observed that the Sec16a mutant mice displayed diminished learning and memory capabilities, along with a limb‐clasping phenotype upon tail suspension.

The reproductive system of the male and oviparous female of a model organism—the pea aphid, Acyrthosiphon pisum (Hemiptera, Aphididae) [PDF]
The structure of the reproductive system of the sexual generation—males and oviparous females—of the pea aphid Acyrthosiphon pisum (Harris) (Hemiptera, Aphididae), a serious pest of cultivated plants of Fabaceae, was investigated.

Generating golden Syrian hamsters with conditional alleles via zygote microinjection of CRISPR/Cas9
We established the first conditional knockout (cKO) model in the golden Syrian hamster by CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated genome editing. Cas9 protein, two sgRNAs, and a donor plasmid carrying loxP‐flanked exon 2 of the ApoF gene were microinjected into one‐cell embryos. The floxed allele was efficiently generated (up to 27%) and transmitted through the germline.

Multi‐omics analysis revealed that FOS supplementation increased the abundance of Phascolarctobacterium, GCA‐900066575, Shuttleworthia, Olsenella, Eubacterium_hallii_group while decreasing Alistipes. It also influenced the metabolism of S‐lactoylglutathione, p‐cresol glucuronate, 2‐phenylethanol glucuronide, propionic acid, dulcitol, and inhibited the ...

COLLECTION OF BOVINE OVIDUCT SECRETIONS [PDF]
a procedure for the continuous collection of oviduct fluid from the cow. Cannulation of the oviduct was accomplished with a single silastic cannula held in the oviduct by two collars sutured to the ovarian end of the oviduct. Numerous oviducal fluid collection systems have been used with varying degrees of success.
