The Chemistry of the Metal Oxalato Complexes.

Chemical Reviews, 1961
A review is given of the occurrence, preparation, and properties of oxalic acid and the simple oxalates; the general classification, structure, stability, and reactions and reaction kinetics of the complex oxalates; and the analytical and industrial applications of the oxalates. A literature survey is also given which includes 456 references to U.

Oxalato complexes of neptunium(IV)

Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1964
Abstract The complex formation of neptunium(IV) ions with oxalate ions has been studied by measuring the equilibrium solubility at various oxalic acid concentrations of Np(C2O4)2.6H2O in perchloric acid medium maintaining an ionic strength of 1 at 26 ± 2°C.

Oxalato-aniline complexes of ruthenium(III)

Journal of the Chemical Society A: Inorganic, Physical, Theoretical, 1971
The preparations, i.r. spectra, electronic spectra, and magnetic susceptibilities of some ruthenium(III) complexes of the type: A[Ru(oxalate)2L2],xH2O in which A = K, NH4, or PhNH3, L = a substituted aniline, and x varies between 1 and 3 are reported. The complex anions have been assigned trans-structures.

Molybdenum(VI) Oxalato Complexes

1998
As part of our research on molybdenum complexes a series of oxalato molybdenum(VI) complexes with alkali metal cations has been prepared. Compound K_2[MoO_3(C_2O_4)]ˇ H_2O (I), with a polymeric anion {[MoO_3(C_2O_4)]^2^-}_n, was obtained from MoO_3 and K_2C_2O_4ˇH_2O in water (pH = 6), whereas K_2[Mo_2O_5(C_2O_4)_2(H_2O)_2] (II), with a binuclear ...

Potassium tris(oxalato)ruthenate (III)

Inorganica Chimica Acta, 1989
Abstract The structure of the title compound has been found by single-crystal X-ray analysis to be a 4.5 hydrate, isomorphous with the rhodium and iridium analogs (triclinic space group P 1 , a = 6.813(5),b = 10.519(1), c = 12.470(2) A, α = 76.28(1)°, β = 84.26(1)°, γ = 85.60(1)°, Z = 2).
