Siral‐HPW‐Supported Pd and Ru Catalysts Evaluation for Glycerol Upgrading
MSiralHPW (M = Ru, Pd, and PdRu) catalysts are active in glycerol hydrogenolysis. Metal (Ru > Pd) and precursor (Cl− > NO3−) influences were verified. Promoting effect of RuO2 reduction by Pd did not influence the metallic dispersion. Residual chlorine promoted acidic sites suitable for the formation of 1,3‐PDO.

Catalytic Dehydrogenation of Propane: Oxidative and Non-Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Propane
The dehydrogenation of propane has a great interest, due to a global growing demand in propene. This reaction needs a catalyst, high temperature and low propane partial pressure. During this work, platinum hydrotalcite-supported was used as catalyst.
