Water, Alcohols, Amines, and Amides as Formal Hydrogen‐Atom‐Transfer Reagents Through Activation With Redox‐Active Lewis Acids

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Protic molecules containing strong O─H or N─H bonds typically resist hydrogen‐atom abstraction because of the high reactivity of the resulting heteroatom‐centered radicals. However, association of the protic molecules with redox‐active Lewis acids can provide powerful hydrogen‐atom donors or proton‐coupled‐electron‐transfer reagents.

Catalytic oxidative desulfurization of fuels in acidic deep eutectic solvents with [(C6H13)3P(C14H29)]3PMo12O40 as a catalyst

open access: yesPetroleum Science, 2018
Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) are a new class of green solvents analogous to ionic liquids due to their biodegradable capacity and low cost. However, the direct extractive desulfurization of diesel oil by DESs cannot meet the government’s standard.

Pt nanoparticles encapsulated on V2O5 nanosheets carriers as efficient catalysts for promoted aerobic oxidative desulfurization performance

open access: yesChinese Journal of Catalysis, 2021
Platinum group metals (PGMs) usually exhibit promising aerobic catalytic abilities, providing a green and feasible oxidative desulfurization method. However, often, the PGM nanoparticles (NPs) get leached, and the catalysts are deactivated. In this work,

Magnetic field‐assisted concentration swing adsorption for CO2 capture over Fe3O4/fibrous nanosilica‐PEI adsorbent

open access: yesAIChE Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Magnetic field‐assisted concentration swing adsorption (CSA) provides an electrification‐compatible alternative to conventional temperature swing adsorption (TSA) by enabling rapid heating/cooling and energy‐efficient regeneration under near‐isothermal conditions, thereby eliminating the need for sensible heat input.
