Oxyfluorfen bioavailability in Brazilian Savanna soils
Oxyfluorfen is a pre-emergent herbicide applied via soil; however, the soil attributes have not been considered to predict the herbicide doses. This study aimed to evaluate the bioavailability of the oxyfluorfen herbicide in Brazilian Savanna soils with ...

Design and application of polyurea microcapsules containing herbicide (oxyfluorfen) [PDF]
Polyurea, a controlled release material, has been widely applied in agricultural fields due to high thermal stability and low cost. In this article oxyfluorfen polyurea microcapsules suspension was successfully prepared by interfacial polymerization using diisocyanate and polyamines such as Ethylenediamine, Hexamethylenediamine, Diethylenetriamine in ...

Bark % and disease trees among and between the genotypes of four hybrid poplar taxa. After two growing seasons, only P. deltoides × P. deltoides (DD) genotypes showed disease resistance (no disease detected) and developed thicker bark that was chemically distinct from the other genotypes. All the other genotypes, show incidence of disease.

Abstract Knowledge of the role in cancer etiology of environmental exposures as pesticides is a prerequisite for primary prevention. We review 63 epidemiological studies on exposure to pesticides and cancer risk in humans published from 2017 to 2021, with emphasis on new findings, methodological approaches, and gaps in the existing literature.

Obesity and diabetes mellitus are considered the most important diseases of the XXI century. Recently, many epidemiological studies have linked exposure to pesticides to the development of obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus. The role of pesticides and their possible influence on the development of these diseases was investigated by examining the ...

MOVEMENT OF OXYFLUORFEN IN CONTAINER NURSERIES [PDF]
Little information is available on herbicide movement in soilless container media and subsequent movement in container leachate and container bed runoff. The objective of this study was to evaluate oxyfluorfen movement in irrigation water following application to container grown nursery crops in a commercial nursery. Oxyfluorfen levels in the container

Oxyfluorfen‐tolerant rice systems were demonstrated to be a viable option for managing problematic weeds including Oryza sativa spontanea in California rice cropping systems. Abstract BACKGROUND Weeds are a significant barrier to rice production in California, exacerbated by lack of chemical control options and herbicide‐resistance in persistent ...
