Oxygen ion conductivity in oxygen-deficient perovskite-related oxides

Materials Research Bulletin, 1976
Abstract Oxygen-deficient oxides with perovskite and perovskite-related structures have been prepared and their electrical conduction properties studied. The following materials were prepared in the form of dense single phase sintered specimens: CaTi 0.7 Al 0.3 O 2.85 □ 0.15 , Sr 3 NbO 5.5 □ 0.5 , Sr 2 CaTaO 5.5 □ 0.5 , Sr 2 CaNbO 5.5 □ 0.5 , LaAl 0.

Electrical properties of mixed-conducting oxides having high oxygen-ion conductivity

Solid State Ionics, 1992
Abstract Significant electronic conductivity is introduced into yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) by the dissolution of titania. The important factors establishing the electronic conductivity at a constant temperature include the solid solubility of the multivalent metal oxide in YSZ, the impurity content of YSZ, and the oxygen pressure.
