Effect of Saturating the Electrolyte with Oxygen on the Activity for the Oxygen Evolution Reaction [PDF]
With the increased interest in the electrochemical conversion of renewable electricity, water, and carbon dioxide to fuels, there is an ever-growing number of papers reporting new electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER).1−5 The OER is the anode reaction in the electrolysis of water and CO2 and a major source of efficiency loss, because

Covalency-reinforced oxygen evolution reaction catalyst [PDF]
AbstractThe oxygen evolution reaction that occurs during water oxidation is of considerable importance as an essential energy conversion reaction for rechargeable metal–air batteries and direct solar water splitting. Cost-efficient ABO3 perovskites have been studied extensively because of their high activity for the oxygen evolution reaction; however ...

Hybrid Co3O4@Co9S8 Electrocatalysts for Oxygen Evolution Reaction
It is very essential to design an efficient and low-cost electrocatalyst for oxygen evolution reaction (OER). In this work, we report synthesis of Co3O4@Co9S8 heterostructures (Co-HSs) by employing Co3O4 nanowires (Co-NWs) as the precursor on nickel foam

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
