Simultaneous Enhancement of Performance and Stability in Dual‐Gate a‐IGZO Thin‐Film Transistors via Single‐Step Laser Annealing for Capacitor‐Less DRAM

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A single‐step laser annealing strategy is presented for dual‐gate a‐IGZO TFTs. The steep thermal gradient induces graded oxygen doping in the channel and simultaneous WOx removal at the contacts, enabling concurrent interface and contact engineering.

Understanding of Oxygen Redox in the Oxygen Evolution Reaction

Advanced Materials, 2022
AbstractThe electron‐transfer process during the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) often either proceeds solely via a metal redox chemistry (adsorbate evolution mechanism (AEM), with metal bands around the Fermi level) or an oxygen redox chemistry (lattice oxygen oxidation mechanism (LOM), with oxygen bands around the Fermi level).

The roles of oxygen vacancies in electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction

Nano Energy, 2020
Abstract The efficiency of many rechargeable energy storage technologies and hydrogen production from water splitting is limited by the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) due to its sluggish kinetics. Understanding the characteristics of the material that affect OER activity is of paramount importance for the development of high-efficiency ...
