Super‐Enhancer Target Gene CBP/p300‐Interacting Transactivator With Glu/Asp‐Rich C‐Terminal Domain, 2 Cooperates With Transcription Factor Forkhead Box J3 to Inhibit Pulmonary Vascular Remodeling

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
During hypoxia, the transcriptional effect of super‐enhancer in promoting CBP/p300‐interacting transactivator with Glu/Asp‐rich C‐terminal domain, 2 reduced, eventually leading to the thickening of the smooth muscle layer of the pulmonary artery.

PD‐L1 Promotes Immunological Tolerance and Enhances Visual Protection of hESC‐RPE Grafts in Retinal Degeneration

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
We generated immune‐tolerant mature hESC‐RPE cells by overexpressing PD‐L1. PD‐L1‐expressing hESC‐RPE grafts exhibited significantly higher survival, reduced apoptosis and enhanced visual protection in retinal degeneration models, which presents an alternative target to improve the efficiency of hESC‐RPE‐based therapy for AMD. ABSTRACT Immune rejection

Stroke‐Homing Peptide‐DNase1 Alleviates Intestinal Ischemia Reperfusion Injury by Selectively Degrading Neutrophil Extracellular Traps

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
SHp‐DNase1 combined with CRO inhibits NETs to alleviate intestinal IRI ABSTRACT Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) act as a vital first line of defence against tissue damage and pathogens, playing a significant role in improving diseases such as intestinal ischemia reperfusion injury (IRI).

Deficiency of Aging‐Related Gene Chitinase‐Like 4 Impairs Olfactory Epithelium Homeostasis

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
Deficiency of Chil4 impairs OE homeostasis through loss of sustentacular cells and a specific type of immature sensory neuron, cell cycle arrest in globose basal cells, and inflammatory activation in microglia‐like cells. ABSTRACT Mammalian olfactory epithelium (OE) undergoes consistent self‐renewal throughout life.

Peri‐anaesthetic complications in 1798 equids undergoing high‐field elective orthopaedic MRI at a tertiary referral hospital

open access: yesEquine Veterinary Journal, Volume 57, Issue 3, Page 666-673, May 2025.
Abstract Background Antimicrobial prophylaxis for elective orthopaedic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in equids is a topic of debate among practitioners and can have negative detrimental effects on patients if used unnecessarily. Objectives To describe the complications with elective orthopaedic MRI of horses, mules, and donkeys under general ...
