High‐Endurance STO:YSZ Optoelectronic Memristors with Vertically Aligned Nanocomposite Structure for Edge Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A SrTiO3:(Y2O3:ZrO2) memristor featuring a vertically aligned nanocomposite (VAN) structure is developed. The vertically aligned conductive channels provide effective pathways for carriers, improving device performance, including high endurance (108), and stable multi‐band optical switching.

NIR‐Triggered Upconversion‐Perovskite Heterostructures for Non‐Genetic, Implant‐Free Optoelectronic Neuromodulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Single‐Nanostructured Optoelectronic Vehicle for neuromodulation Activation (SNOVA) establishes a paradigm for non‐genetic, implant‐free neuromodulation. By integrating NIR‐excitable UCNPs with broadband‐absorbing perovskite QDs, SNOVA efficiently converts deeply penetrating light into localized electric fields that modulate neuronal ion dynamics ...

Structural and Electronic Complexities of a Sulfur‐Bridged Di‐Iron Complex Composed of Mono‐ and Di‐Nitrosyl Units

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Two NO‐containing iron units, biologically relevant as NO storage/release centers, connected by sulfur, display characteristics arising from multiple quantum levels in their extensively delocalized arrangement. Analysis in three charge levels finds the electron distribution almost substantially spread over all atoms of its composition: 2S, 2Fe, and 3NO.

OPTRACE: Optical Imaging–Guided Transplantation and Tracking of Cells in the Mouse Brain

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
OPTRACE establishes an optical, two‐step platform for intracerebral cell therapy. Transparent glass pipettes enable real‐time, image‐guided delivery, while multiplex genetic labeling with two‐photon and bioluminescence readouts supports longitudinal single‐cell tracking and host–graft dynamics.

Real‐Time In Vivo Monitoring of Anastomotic Intestinal Ischemia Using Implantable Resorbable Organic Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Resorbable impedance sensors are successfully implanted into porcine small intestinal anastomoses. Impedance was recorded for 2 hours prior, and 2 hours following ischemia induction, and a significant drop in tissue impedance was observed. Abstract Anastomotic failure remains one of the most severe complications in gastrointestinal surgery.
