Technology of Powder Coatings Application by Gas-Flame Spraying Using Oxyhydrogen Flame

open access: yesMaterials Science Forum, 2017
In the article the equipment, method and the results of researches of strength of gas-flame coatings cohesion with the base are presented. The dependence of adhesive strength on spraying modes of powder material by oxyhydrogen flame is established and described. Recommendations on choosing the gas-flame spraying modes are developed.

Impact of produced oxyhydrogen gas (HHO) from dry cell electrolyzer on spark ignition engine characteristics [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Hydrogen Energy
In the current study, an onboard dry cell electrolyzer was built to produce an oxyhydrogen (HHO) flow rate of 0.5 L/min by water electrolysis. The objective is to show the impact of oxyhydrogen introduction on engine exhaust gases, combustion characteristics, and engine performance related to gasoline.

Oxyhydrogen Gas Production by Alkaline Water Electrolysis and the Effectiveness on the Engine Performance and Gas Emissions in an ICEs: A Mini-Review

Journal of Advanced Research in Fluid Mechanics and Thermal Sciences, 2022
The excessive use of fossil fuels and the resultant dramatic increase in pollution levels have highlighted the need for a new sustainable and environmentally friendly fuel. Hence, it is necessary to research alternatives to reduce the use of fossil fuels and the emission of greenhouse gases.

Thermal Explosion of Oxyhydrogen Gas Initiated by the Wall of a Quartz Reactor

Combustion, Explosion, and Shock Waves, 2010
A criterion is proposed for ignition which begins on the combustion-chamber wall heated by the heterogeneous oxidation of hydrogen. Surface heating resulting in the formation of a chain-thermal avalanche and a hot flame front is calculated in accordance with Semenov’s postulate of low-temperature gas ignition on a surface.

A study of the gas flow occurring in oxyhydrogen detonations, using a magnetohydrodynamic method of measurement

Combustion and Flame, 1970
Oxyhydrogen detonations at 1 atm, covering a wide range of compositions, have been made to interact with a 0.62 Wb/m 2 magnetic field in an orthogonal field-flow-electrode configuration under open-circuit conditions. It is shown that the measured open-circuit voltage can be used to estimate the flow conditions in and behind the detonation.
