Synthesis of Amides from Amines and Esters Under Hydrothermal Conditions. [PDF]
In this study, we explore the amide synthesis under hydrothermal conditions, using amines and esters as the starting materials. Proposed major pathway starts with ester hydrolysis, followed by condensation between carboxylic acids and amines. The amide yield is dependent on the substrate structure, solution pH, and the presence of dissolved metal salts.

Transformation of a Silicate Material for Carbon Negative Magnesia-Based Cement via Electrochemistry. [PDF]
The transformation of a magnesium trisilicate material via water electrolysis into precursor phases necessary for magnesium‐based M‐S‐H cement is explored. The dissolution of the material mediated electrochemically is monitored, and the analysis of the resulting phases indicate their suitability as effective precursors for M‐S‐H cement.

Deterministic Fabrication of Plasmonic Nanostructures on Optical Nanofibers via Blurred Electron Beam Deposition. [PDF]
A nanofabrication method enabling the direct growth of plasmonic nanostructures are presented on suspended tapered optical nanofibers via Blurred Electron Beam Induced Deposition (BEBID). By defocusing the beam to reduce mechanical stress, BEBID achieves sub‐20 nm precision and structural control, enabling directional scattering and light–matter ...
